FAQs

Who can apply?

Our course is open to music students, young musicians, as well as advanced amateurs. If you are uncertain, please do get in touch.

Teaching Languages

We are an international community, communicating mostly in German and English. Most of our teachers are multi-lingual. Their teaching languages can be found on their individual pages.

How do I get to Asolo?

Asolo is located in Veneto, northern Italy. Closest airports are Treviso (TSF) and Venice Marco Polo (VCE). Closest train stations are Castelfranco and Treviso. A lot of info on your travel options can be found here.

What happens after my application?

You will receive a separate official confirmation email from us, inviting you to Asolo. Usually, this happens within a few days after the application deadline. Upon sending you the confirmation email, we will be making reservations for you at Villa Flangini.

Please kindly note that our organization is unable to cover the cost or issue refunds in case of late cancellations and no-shows. The spaces at the villa are blocked specifically for you and all teachers are committing their valuable time. In exceptional circumstances, please do talk to us as early as possible. You might also be interested in your options for individual travel insurance. Thank you for your understanding!

Do you provide a visa invitation letter?

We are happy to provide you with an official invitation letter for the Summer Academy. Please kindly note that we have limited options to influence your individual visa application process. Due to past experiences of our students, we recommend applying as early as possible. Kindly note that we are unable to cover the costs of your reservation, should your visa be declined by the Italian Embassy.

Can you tell me more about the accommodation?

Our accomodation is mostly in double/shared rooms at Villa Flangini, the same location as the masterclass. A smaller number of single rooms is available at Villa Flangini and Villa Vega, in 3 mins walking distance. Additional single rooms are available at Fara 1911 and Hotel Asolo (approximately 5 mins by car). You can choose your options in the applications section.

Is it possible to receive a separate invoice regarding accommodation and course fee?

We are happy to issue separate invoices if you need this for GVL or other funding sources. Please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Can you tell me more about the CoVid situation?

Last year’s Academies have been a great success, despite the Corona situation. For more info, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
